Lagos arrests 68 miscreants

 

CITIZENS COMPASS—Lagos State Government says it arrested 68 miscreants in some parts of the State.

Tokunbo Philip Wahab, the Lagos State Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, recently disclosed this on his X Handle.

He said the miscreants were arrested while conducting surveillance operation of the coastal road, Ikoyi, Oniru Beach, and other parts of the Lagos Island.

According to the Commissioner, the operation was jointly carried out by the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC) popularly known as the Nigerian Police Force, and the Nigerian Army.

“During a joint operation between the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), the Nigerian Police Force, and the Nigerian Army, 68 miscreants were arrested while conducting surveillance operation of the coastal road, Ikoyi, Oniru Beach, and other parts of the Lagos Island.

“The arrested individuals will be charged to court in accordance with the Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law.”
