CITIZENS COMPASS –The Kano State Government has taken decisive steps on the ongoing feud between its reinstated Muhammadu Sanusi and the deposed Emir, Aminu Ado Bayero in the State.
The steps followed a court judgment that reinstated Bayero as the authentic Emir.
The state government also directed the Commissioner of Police to immediately remove the 15th Emir from the Nassarawa Palace, which is state-owned.
The government announced plans to demolish the palace and its properties for reconstruction purposes, effectively ousting Emir Bayero from his reinstated position.
This move comes as a surprise development in the ongoing saga surrounding the Kano emirate.
The steps have caused panic among residents.
