CITIZENS COMPASS– FIRST Bank, of Nigeria has announced plans to upgrade its systems between Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5, 2023.
To this effect, its online services may not be accessible between 9:00 pm on Saturday and 7:00 am on Sunday,
The bank ma the announcement on its social media platforms urging customers to bear with this.
The bank through a flier passed across the message to its various customers on Friday, March 3, 2023 saying the planned upgrade is to enable its engineers to maintain its platforms.
We are running a scheduled maintenance on our platforms from 9:00 pm – 7 am on March 4 and 5, 2023. We will be back up and ready for you from 7 am,”
First Bank used the opportunity to caution its customers against revealing their vital banking details to anyone, stressing that it would not request them to do so.
“Please note that under no circumstance will we ask for sensitive transaction details such as your account ID, Password, card PIN, Token generated numbers or One Time Password (OTP) from you via phone call, SMS or email.
