CITIZENS COMPASS– A candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Birnin Kebbi/Kalgo/Bunza Federal Constituency of the House of Representatives, Barrister Abba Bello Haliru, is dead.
His death was confirmed by the Director General, PDP Governorship Campaign Council, Alhaji Abubakar Shehu who said the candidate died after a brief illness, on Friday.
The deceased won the PDP ticket by defeating the incumbent House of Representatives member, Bello Relisco in the party’s primary last year.
A family source said arrangement were being made for his burial.
The late Abba was the first son of former PDP national chairman, Dr Bello Haliru.
