CITIZENS COMPASS– THE Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), has confirmed the kidnap of the wife of its Head of the Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG’SSIS), Mrs Victoria Dandaura.
NSCDC Spokesperson, Olusola Odumosu in a statement on Thursday, November 3, 2022, said the incident occured at his residence in Gidi-Gidi, around Cattle market, Lafia, Nasarawa State on Wednesday, 2nd November, 2022 at about 7pm in the evening.
According to him, the unknown gunmen stormed the residence of Deputy Commandant Appolos Dandaura and took control of the environment by shooting sporadically in the air and thereafter whisked the wife away on gun point.
His younger brother, a personnel of the Corps serving in Nasarawa State Command, ASC1 Ezekiel Dandaura Samu sustained gunshot injuries in the cause of the attack and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital facility.
“She was Kidnapped inside her living room and taken away without any traces for now.”
