SUSPECTED gunmen have reportedly kidnapped four farmers in Ikosun-Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
It was gathered that the farmers were Kidnapped while working on their farmland in the area.
The traditional ruler of the town, Oba Joseph Afolabi Adeoye who confirmed the abduction of the four farmers gave their names as Gbadamosi Sarafa, Jimoh, Yinka Adeniran and Seun.
He said they were kidnapped at the Agric farm settlement between 5:00 to 6:00pm on Monday, while working inside their farm.
The monarch further explained that two of those kidnapped, Seun and Jimoh were Bulldozer Operators working in the farm as at the time they were abducted along with two others who taken to an unknown destination.
At press time, efforts to speak with the Police Public Relations officer in the State, Sunday Abutu were unsuccessful.
