CITIZENS COMPASS —A pan Lagos group, Lagos People’s Assembly (LPA) has congratulated the governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu, on the affirmation of his victory by the Supreme Court on Friday.
The Group described the victory of the governor as “well deserved”, stressing that the people voted for him based on the delivery of his campaign promises in the first term and delivery of legacy projects across the length and breadth of the State.
LPA in a press release issued on Friday and signed by one of its leaders, Gbenga Soloki, commended the people of the state for choosing wisely in the election, assuring that with the conclusion of litigation on the gubernatorial election, the dividends of democracy will start to roll in more.
The group also called on the opposition parties to join the governor in his giant strides to transform Lagos into a model city, that is the dream of the founding fathers of the State.
The Group saluted Judges of the Supreme Court for their diligence in handling the matter, while calling on Lagosians to continue to support the Sanwo-Olu led administration.
