Governance: Sesan Daini appoints new Senior Special Assistants

 

CITIZENS COMPASS – Ten residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division in Lagos State, were on Wednesday, appointed as Senior Special Assistants (SSAs).

The council chairman of the LCDA, Olusesan Daini popularly known as Builder Sesan Daini, made the appointment to strengthen governance and ensure service delivery across key sectors within the LCDA.

The lucky residents were Yahaya Kamoru Gboyega (ICT & Education), Suraju Abdulgafar (Sports), Ajenifuja Isa Olaniyi (Environment) and Obayomi Babatunde Orekoya (Youth & Student Engagement).

Others were Omotayo Lawal Ramota (Media), Adeife Alli-Balogun (WAPA), Amusa Adeseye Lawal (Works), Quadri Olabode Rahman (Community Engagements & Security), Afonja Eunice Oluwakemi (Tourism), and Alimi Wasiu (Health).

This decision to appoint the SSAs was the outcome of an Executive Committee meeting held at the Council Conference Room.

It reflects the Chairman’s commitment to driving targeted development initiatives that meet the needs of residents.

The newly appointed SSAs will each focus on specific portfolios, ensuring a broad coverage of priority areas within the LCDA. The council chairman expressed confidence in the new team, emphasising that their expertise will enable the administration to focus on responsive and community-driven governance. He acknowledged that each appointee brings a unique skill set, enhancing the council’s ability to deliver impactful services and programmes.

He extended an invitation to the community to welcome the appointees and support them as they work towards advancing the developmental objectives of the LCDA.
