CITIZENS COMPASS– GOSPEL singer, Sammie Okposo is dead.
Okposo was said to have slumped and died in his home on Friday morning.
Reports said he was rushed to Eva Hospital, Lekki where he was pronounced dead. He was aged 51.
He hailed from Delta State.
The Okposos has officially announced the death urging members of the public to allow them grief peacefully.
A statement signed by Hector Okposo on behalf of the family reads, “It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to God that I announce the passing away of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, minister of God, Sammie Okposo.
“Sammie slept to be with the Lord in the morning of Friday, November 25, 2022.
“‘More details about his burial will be communicated soon.
‘We ate consoled because we know that he is with Jesus singing with angels.We kindly appeal that the family is allowed to grief peacefully at this time. “
