The Chairman of Nigeria’s second-largest telecom operator, and chairman of Conoil, an oil exploration firm, was reported dead by some bloggers on Tuesday.
However, reports have it that Adenuga was hail and hearty at press time.
Some Globacom staff confirmed that their boss was waxing strong.
A senior staff of Globacom who did not want his name inprint said,
“No such thing happened. He is well,” according to those who just spoke with the Chairman of Globacom, the telecommunications company making many families happy this season with Glo Jolly Promo.”
Similarly, the Chairman of Ovation Media Group, Aare Dele Momodu, confirmed that Adenuga was alive.
He wrote on his social media handle; “Ignore the fake news… The Spirit of Africa DR. MICHAEL ADENIYI AGBOLADE ISOLA ADENUGA is hale and hearty. He’s right now at his desk working round the clock in support of the Nigerian economy… He just called me to thank everyone for their concern…”
