CITIZENS COMPASS- FOUR men who allegedly dispossessed a man of his Suzuki minibus and phone in the Aramoko Ekiti area of Ekiti state have been arrested in Lagos.
The swift operation was carried out on Tuesday by the men of Ekiti State Police Command after a tip off.
This was disclosed in a statement, by Ekiti state Commissioner of Police, Moronkeji Adesina who identified the suspects as Kunle (31), Waheed (20), Taiwo (19) and Adele Samuel (23).
According to the statement signed by the Spokesperson of the command, Sunday Abutu, he said the suspects were trailed to Langbasa, Lagos State, where they were arrested on December 14 by the Anti-Vehicle Theft Section of the Ekiti State Police Command.
It reads, “During investigation, the Itel phone taken away was recovered while effort is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicate and recover the mini-bus hijacked from the victim. The arrested suspects will be arraigned as soon as investigation is concluded.”
