CITIZENS COMPASS— There was fire outbreak on Monday which gutted fewer than 40 shops in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The fire which gutted 40 shops in Ibadan was said to have erupted from the herbal section of the popular Oranyan market, in the Ibadan North East Local Government Area of the state.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
The shop owners who were seen clustering in groups bemoaned their fate over the unfortunate incident.
