CITIZENS COMPASS – Effective December 20, 2024 to January 6, 2025, the Federal Government has approved free train service across the country.
The step is to cushion the effects of skyrocketed fares during the season.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents at the end of the Council meeting, presided over by President Bola Tinubu at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said cabinet members will embark on recess from 18th December and resume on January 6, 2025.
