CITIZENS COMPASS —The Akintelure Family from the Igbotako, Okitipupa, Ondo State, on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, announced burial plans for the Ondo State Gubernatorial aspirant during the state upcoming election, Dr Paul Akintelure who died on March 26, 2024 in Lagos State.
According to the plans as released by Oladapo Akintelure, the burial activities would commence on Thursday, April 25 in Lagos State and rounds off on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
The plans are to take off on Thursday, April 25, 2024, with Service of Songs at St. Francis Catholic Church, Idimu, Lagos State.
Lying – in-State holds at Dr Paul Akintelure residence, Igbotako, Okitipupa, Ondo State, on Friday, April 26, 2024.
Requiem Mass and burial would be held at Saint Pius Catholic Church, Igbotako, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, followed by interment and reception at Dr Paul Akintelure’s residence, Igbotako.
The activities would be rounded off with Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, April 28, 2024, St. Pius Catholic Church, Igbotako.
The medical doctor turned politician died in Lagos after a brief illness.
Until his death, Akintelure was contesting under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.
