Eid-el-Kabir: CP felicitates with stakeholders, business community

 

CITIZENS COMPASS –The Commissioner of Police, Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola, has felicitated with stakeholders and the business community on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He facilitated with them through a press statement e-signed by the Command’s spokesperson, ASP Isaac Hundeyin, and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP).

It reads, “The Commissioner of Police Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola, psc+ mnips on behalf of officers and men of the command, felicitates with stakeholders and the business community especially the Muslims, on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.”

According to the statement, “The CP assures of adequate security around the nation’s ports during and after the celebration as enough human, material and operational assets have been strategically deployed for adequate coverage.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASP Isaac Hundeyin stated that, “The Commissioner of Police Ports Authority Police (Western) Command, CP Olanrewaju Olawale Ishola psc+ mnips on behalf of officers and men of the command, felicitates stakeholders and the business community especially the Muslim umma, on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.”

According to the statement, “The CP assures of adequate security around the nation’s ports during and after the celebration as enough human, material and operational assets have been strategically deployed for adequate coverage of the Western Ports Area of responsibility which include the Apapa Port, Tincan island port, Lekki Deep-Sea port and other lighter terminals.”The Area Commander, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and other specialized units like the Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit (EOD) and the canine (K9) unit have strategically deployed all crime prevention assets within their disposal while their men remain on red alert. The Ports police marine department have also been directed to properly patrol the ports perimeters to avoid any incursion through the water waterways.“

“The CP enjoined all to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, peace and love which the season is centered on while everyone remains vigilant and reports any untoward incident or suspicious activity around them to the nearest police station.
