CITIZENS COMPASS —Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters at an apartment in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
They were arrested on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, following actionable intelligence received by the Command regarding their suspicious activities.
Specifically, the seven suspects were arrested at their hideout in Dowoo Road by Ox-Bow Lake, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Items recovered from them are laptops and phones.
They will be charged in court as soon as investigations are concluded.
