CITIZENS COMPASS– Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), Sokoto Zonal Directorate of have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in the State.
They were arrested on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas of the State based on actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
All the suspects claimed to be students of Usmanu Danfodio University in the State.
They will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations
