Drama as APC debunks Jimoh Ibrahim’s suspension
CITIZENS COMPASS – Members of the Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Igbotako Ward II in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, has debunked the suspension of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, a Gubernatorial aspirant during its Governorship Primaries in the State.
The Senator is representing Ondo South at the National Assembly.
Chairman of APC in the ward, Mr Adetokunbo Omotola, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Okitipupa.
Earlier, a document detailing the suspension which was in circulation on Wednesday was signed by members of the Executive Committee.
Few hours later, the Committee countered the report.
Omotola said that rather than the purported suspension, the party’s ward executives had passed a vote of confidence on Jimoh Ibrahim.
He said that APC in the ward was also standing by the senator in his pursuit of justice in the last governorship primary.
