CITIZENS COMPASS— Adedeji Adeleke, father of the Nigerian singer Davido, on Sunday, donated N1 billion to the Cherubim and Seraphim Church’s Centenary Endowment Fund.
The older brother to the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, donated the money during a thanksgiving service in Lagos.
In attendance were the Governor, son and other members of his family.
Making the donation, he said” the contribution was made in memory of his late mother, Nnena Esther Adeleke.
The event was captured in a viral video.
The donation elicited joy among the worshippers.
