Council Chairman, Sesan Daini hosts strategic meeting with Special Adviser to Sanwo-Olu
CITIZENS COMPASS – The Council Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division in Lagos, Olusesan Mayokun Daini also known Builder Sesan Daini, on Wednesday, played host to a strategic meeting with the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje.
The meeting which sought collaboration with the Special Adviser was held at the Council Secretariat, Igbogbo where the latter highlighted the Lagos State Government’s commitment to develop the rural areas in the State.
Speaking, the Special Adviser assured collaboration with Daini particularly on designing a strategic framework for sustainable development projects that would directly benefit residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
Also, he assured residents of infrastructural development, access to clean water, road rehabilitation, and stable power supply among others.
The Special Adviser highlighted the importance of aligning the state and local government efforts to ensure seamless project execution, noting that rural development remains a central pillar in Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
The conversation itemised the current rural needs across the LCDA, identified critical gaps and prioritising initiatives that would yield immediate and long-term benefits.
Responding, Daini expressed optimism about the partnership, acknowledging that collaborative projects could enhance service delivery and resource allocation in the LCDA.
He emphasised the council’s dedication to fulfilling the needs of its rural communities and working closely with state representatives to drive impactful change.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to develop actionable plans and timelines for the proposed initiatives.
It promised a united vision for advancing rural development in the Ikorodu Division particularly Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
