LAGOS State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday, announced that construction of the second phase of Ijede Road in Ikorodu will commence on Saturday.
The governor disclosed this during his visit to Ikorodu saying that the second phase of the road construction starts from Ewu- Elepe and terminates in Gberigbe.
He said the contractors have been mobilised and will move to the site soon.
San’wo+Olu said the State Government had set aside funds for the overhauling of the Odogunyan axis of Ikorodu/Sagamu Expressway which connects Lagos and Ogun States.
He promised that youths in the Division will be given priority through establishment of youth centers.
Various projects were inaugurated during the visit.
