Chairmanship Cup: Oba Adeboruwa Estate FC tackles Ayegbami FC at finals on Friday

CITIZENS COMPASS –Amid high expectations, Oba Adeboruwa Estate FC will on Friday, June 14, 2024, slug it out with Ayegbami FC at the ongoing 2024 Chairmanship Cup in Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ikorodu Division in Lagos State.
The Championship Cup sponsored by the Council Chairman, Olusesan Mayokun Dani, commenced on May 1, 2024, at the United African Methodist Church (Eleja), Igbogbo, with many football fans in attendance.
The Quarter-Final was held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 between Oba Adeboruwa Estate FC and
Baba Ode FC with Two goals to Zero in favour of the former.
The Batch 49 of the match which was the Semi-Final held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, was between Oba Adeboruwa FC and Igbe FC with Five goals to Two against the latter.
The Final Match (Match Number 52 holds on Friday, June 14 as Oba Adeboruwa Estate FC would slug it out with Ayegbami FC.
The Technical Director of the Championship Cup, Baoku Kabir and the leader of the Local Organising Committee, Mr Obayomi Adeoye, gave the details of the final match thus;

Citizens Compass reported that Oba Adeboruwa FC defeated Baba Ode FC to qualify for the Semi-Final in the Chairmanship Cup.
Citizens Compass also reported that the Technical Director congratulated the winning team.
Recall that in the 39th minute of the match, Jersey No. 10, Esho Idris, from Oba Adeboruwa
FC scored the first goal while Jersey No. 16, Amodu Nurudeen, scored the second goal in the 51st minute of the match thereby recording Two goals to Nil in favour of Oba Adeboruwa FC.
Citizens Compass reported that Oba Adeboruwa FC, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, defeated the Adegbose FC with One goal to Zero during the ongoing football competition.
Team Oba Adeboruwa Estate scored the goal in the 85th minute of the match thereby defeating Adegbose FC which scored Zero goals.
A striker from the winning team, Iremide Ayomide emerged as the Most Valuable Player and was presented with a N25,000 prize.
Chairman of Oba Adeboruwa Estate (CDA), Alhaji Musa Bolaji Hammed populaly known as Young boss, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, expressed optimism that his team would win the Chairmanship Cup.
