CITIZENS COMPASS– SIX Bureau De Change (BDC), operators are currently cooling their heels with the Police for allegedly conspiring to abduct an eight-year-old child of their colleague.
Spokesperson, Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in his tweets on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 saying the suspects were arrested by men of the Command..
He said the child was released three days later bound in a sack and all the suspects were being investigated.
He stated that preliminary investigation revealed that all the suspects are BDC operators in the same business district in Lagos.
He said the suspects whose names were withheld will be arraigned at the end of investigation.
“These six conspired and kidnapped the eight-year old child of a BDC operator.
“The child was released three days later bound hands and feet in a sack.
“Preliminary investigation reveals that all the suspects are fellow BDC operators in the same business district of Lagos.”n
In a related development, the spokesperson said, “Men of Ajah Division responded swiftly to a distress call from Sangotedo that cultists were on rampage. These two were arrested with locally made firearms.
“They are currently assisting with ongoing investigations.”
