Be nice to your neighbours, Glo charges Muslims at Eid-El-Kabir
CITIZENS COMPASS – Globacom, Nigeria’s leading provider of integrated telecommunications solutions, has urged the nation’s Muslims to use the occasion of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration to advance good neighbourliness, love, and solidarity.
In a press release issued on Tuesday in Lagos, the company wished Muslims a joyous Eid celebration and urged them to continue to practice self-control and recommit themselves to the instructions of the Holy Book.
In addition, it praised Muslims for successfully completing this year’s Hajj in accordance with the dictates of Islam and urged them to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s commitment, dedication, and obedience, which is honoured during the Eid-El-Kabir festival by remembering his willingness to sacrifice his son in submission to Allah’s will.
”It is a season of charity, peace-making and forgiveness. We must use this season to remember to fend for the poor and the needy in line with Allah’s injunction to be our brother’s keeper”, Globacom noted.
The company expressed commitment to make sure that all Nigerians using the Glo network had a seamless communication experience throughout and after the holidays.
