24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari pledged support for victims of violent clashes in Plateau State, some suspected bandits have struck killing some residents in Yelwa Zangam community, Jos.
It was gathered that armed bandits attacked the community in the early hours of Wednesday.
The attackers had reportedly disabled the bridge leading to the community preventing any access to help before launching their assault.
It was also learnt that an entire family was burnt alive in their home.
The attack is coming barely 24 hours after President Muhammadu Buhari pledged support for victims of violent clashes in Plateau State.
When contacted, the Plateau State Police Command, Ubah Ogaba confirmed the incident but did not have the details.
