CITIZENS COMPASS– NIGERIANS have continued to express reactions following the choice of outfit of the vice-presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima, to the Nigerian Bar Association conference which was held in Lagos, on Monday, August 22, 2022.
In the outfit, Shettima was dressed in a piece of suit with a very long tie protruding underneath the top coat which was laced with a pair of trainers.
The outfit has been generating reactions on social media.
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri speaking on the outfit said “This is Tinubu’s running mate at the NBA conference today. Look at his feet. Who in his right mind wears a suit and tie, and then puts on a pair of gym shoes to a conference?
If Shettima does not know how to dress himself, how can he address Nigeria’s challenges?”
A popular tweep, Nefertiti said, “The so-called “owner” of Lagos sent in Shettima to represent him, in a conference held in Lagos. Tinubu will not attend the Presidential Debate. Please, Shettima should wear a smile sometimes.”
Another tweep, Nedu said, “Forget about the carpenter-made coat he’s wearing and the weird shoe combo. But boss was talking about anger management abi? Shettima is always angry.”
