
Police unite boys rescued along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway with parents
CITIZENS COMPASS– Ogun State Police Command on Saturday, said it has united two rescued boys, Abdulrasak Salaudeen (M) of Ikpata Oloje, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway with one of their parents.
Recall that the boys were trekking from Lagos State to Kwara State when they were rescued on the Long Bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Spokesperson for the Command, Omolola Odutola, gave the update to newsmen.
According to her, “Two young boys on long bridge on 18/04/2025 at about 1600hrs, Abdulrasak Salaudeen (M) of Ikpata Oloje, Ilorin West, Kwara State, identified as the father of one of the boys, has taken custody of both children. They are to be returned to their hometown in Ilorin West, Kwara State. They are no longer in police custody…”
