Commissioner dies after executive meeting 

 

CITIZENS COMPASS– The Cross River State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mr. Abubakar Robert Ewa, died yesterday, after a State Executive Council meeting.

He died in the evening at the Arubah Specialist Hospital in Calabar.

The meeting was chaired by the state governor, Bassey Otu. Hours later, he was rushed to the hospital, where medical personnel confirmed him dead.

Following the news, members of the State Executive Council and other close aides to Governor Otu gathered at the hospital to console the late commissioner’s family and offer their condolences.
