Yomi Idowu appointed as Chairman, LERSA, Zone A
CITIZENS COMPASS –The immediate past chairman of Lekki Phase 1 Residents Association, Eti-Osa Local Government, Lagos State, Yomi Idowu, has been appointed as Chairman, Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholders Association (LERSA), Zone A.
The appointment was unanimously agreed.upon at the Executive Council meeting of the Zone held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, confirmed in a statement dated Monday, December 2, 2024 and signed by President, Lekki Estates Residents and Stakeholders Association, Alhaji Sulyman Bello.and General Secretary, Mrs. Ronke Oyetunji.
The statement was titled,
“APPOINTMENT AS ZONAL CHAIRMAN ZONE A (ADMIRALTY TOLLGATE – VGC)”
It reads, “At its Executive Council meeting held on Wednesday 27th of November 2024, your appointment as Chairman of LERSA Zone A was unanimously agreed.
That agreement by EXCO was subsequently ratified by the General Assembly on Saturday 30th
November 2024. It is instructive to note that your dedication to the cause of Lekki Peninsula and your other sterling qualities played very important roles in this appointment.
“This correspondence therefore comes to officially notify you of the appointment.
“In that role, you are expected to coordinate the implementation of policies and programmes of the Association as well as all other required activities and events. Please find herewith comprehensive schedule of the role.
“We hope you will continue to give your best, in the service of the Lekki Peninsula and by extension, the whole of Lagos State.

LERSA zone A comprises over 90 estates from Admiralty Toll Gate to Ajah, which includes Lekki phase 1, Femi Okunu, Pinnock Beach Estate, Nicon Town, Friends colony, Victoria Garden City (VGC) among others.
