…Daini inspects road project

CITIZENS COMPASS – The much awaited general hospital will soon become a reality in the Igbogbo-Baiyeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), Ikorodu Division in Lagos.
This is courtesy of Pa Reuben Olorunfunmi Basorun, former Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Lagos and the council chairman, Olusesan Mayokun Daini popularly known as Builder Daini.
The council chairman disclosed this on Wednesday, during a “Thank You Visit” to the former SSG in his house in Igbogbo Kingdom.
Speaking during the visit, Daini said it was in response to the donation of three plots of land by Pa Basorun towards the construction of a general hospital for Igbogbo-Baiyeku.
He said the former SSG had also connected Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and former Deputy Governor of Lagos to facilitate construction of the general hospital for the LCDA.
According to him, the survey plan for the landed property would soon be ready just as the Council had cleared all the shanties occupying the property
.
He said the property is behind Eleja Primary School, Igbogbo.
The council chairman was in company of the entire legislative arm, and executive members of the council.
Responding, Pa Basorun who is also a member of Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) said the donation was part of his gesture to make life meaningful for the people of Igbogbo-Baiyeku.
Citizens Compass reports that the nearest general hospital to Igbogbo-Baiyeku is in Ikorodu Central which requires a minimum of between N1,000 and N1,600 fares to and fro.
Daini inspects ongoing road construction
In a related development, the executive members of the LCDA led by the council chairman on Wednesday, inspected an ongoing road construction at Abuja-Lasori, along Ibeshe Road in the LCDA.
Facilitated by a Member of the House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Babajimi Benson, the road construction is among the 114 road projects facilitated by the state government across various communities within the state.
