Council chair presents official vehicles to staff in Lagos

CITIZENS COMPASS – Mr Wasiu Adesina, Chairman of korodu Local Government, on Wednesday, presented official cars to administrative team and outgoing management staffers.

Speaking at the presentaton ceremony, Adesina thanked the staffers of the local government area for their unwavery support for his administration.

He said the vehicle was presented to boost the management morale to further achieving greater success and urged the beneficiaries to put in more effort to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the local government administration.

“Today we are doing three programs in one, as a significant milestone in our journey to enhance local government administration.

“Official presentation of vehicles to our management team, send forth to the outgoing management and distribution of food items to regular staffs.

“We are proud to present this vehicles to our management members to serve our communities with greater ease and impact,” he said.

However, the chairman said that staff that were send forth today, has worked meritoriously as stakeholde that has contributed to my administration achievements since I was elected on my second term in office as the council chairman.

“I want to thank the outgoing staff, your contribution to our local government have been inevitable and we appreciate your commitment service, ” he said.

Earlier, Mr Shipe Shaanu, Council Manager express gratitude to the council chairman on his remarkable achievements and infrastructural development of the area and urged all the beneficiaries to judiciously utilise the vehicle on the basis for which it was provided.

Similarly, Mrs Mobodu Adenike, call on members of staff transfered to Ikorodu LG to ensure cooperation between the management staff and the executives for more developmental projects.

The Citizen Compass reports that some of the outgoing staff were presented an award of excellence and food stuffs were also distributes to the council staff.
