Proprietor absconds with WAEC fees, sells property
CITIZENS COMPASS–A viral video has emerged capturing how a school owner in Ibadan, Oyo State, absconded after collecting money to register some students for the West African Examination Council (WAEC).
The video captured some parents lamenting that he did not register the students despite the fact that he took them to a center for thumbprinting.
According to the video, the proprietor did not only absconded with the money, he was said to have put up the property of the school, the Lord’s Favour College for sale.
This has sparked outrage on social media.
The proprietor reportedly collected N95,000, N100,000 and N105,000 respectively but failed to register the students for the examination.
In the video, some teachers claimed the whereabouts of the proprietor was uncertain.
