CITIZENS COMPASS– In a tragic circumstance, four Nollywood actors were feared dead in a boat mishap that occurred on Anam River in Anambra West Local Government Area, Anambra State.
A popular Nollywood actor, Pope Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope was among the victims.
A filmmaker, Samuel Olatunji, shared the tragic news on his Instagram page.
He said the boat capsized on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
According to him, Junior Pope alongside three others, tragically lost their lives when their boat capsized.
He said, “Four actors including Jnr Pope fell into Anam River on their way to a location and their bodies have been recovered.
“What a sad day for Nollywood. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family,” Olatunji wrote on his Instagram page.”
