Easter: Hope Fund gives palliatives to residents of Igbogbo-Baiyeku in Ikorodu
CITIZENS COMPASS —In its bid to put smiles on the faces of the needy, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Hope Fund, on Monday, April 1, 2024, shared palliatives to 20 residents of Igbogbo/Baiyeku in the Ikorodu Division, Lagos State.
The palliatives were shared in the form of money to 20 residents drawn from Macaulay, Ilado and Unity in the CDC Zone 4 area.
The beneficiaries went home with the sum of ₦10,000 each courtesy of Hope Fund.
The presentation took place at Labour Wise Schools, Macaulay, off Igbogbo-Baiyeku Road with some community representatives in attendance.
Making the presentation, Mr Shina Kelani who represented Hope Fund alongside his wife, Ayobami urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the fund.
He said it was meant to cushion the effects of hardship on Nigerians.
We have been to other places in Nigeria particularly Lagos and Ogun putting smiles on the faces of people and today, it is the turn of Igbogbo-Baiyeku.
He expressed delight at the well-organised setting.
Earlier, the compere/Proprietress, of Labour Wise Schools, Mrs Adejoke Aderounmu explained that the beneficiaries were selected regardless of their tribes and religion.
The beneficiaries expressed gratitude at the event.
