A military plane conveying the Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, to Kaduna has reportedly crashed.
It was learnt that no fewer than six other unidentified senior officers in the training plane, which crashed about 6pm on Friday at Kaduna Airport.
Reports said there was no survivor in the crash.
The plane reportedly crashed at the runway, while trying to land, amid heavy rainfall.
A statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Edward Gabkwet said, A”Anair crash involving a @NigAirForce aircraft occurred this evening near the Kaduna International Airport. The immediate cause of the crash is still being ascertained. More details to follow soon,”
