CITIZENS COMPASS – No fewer than 40 people were reportedly trapped on weekend when a storey building collapsed in Sabon Lugbe in Abuja.
According to reports, the building, said to be under construction, collapsed at about 5 p.m, while construction work was ongoing.
Videos of the collapse were seen trending on social media.
In some of the videos seen on X , residents were seen attempting to rescue the trapped victims from the rubble.
At press time, emergency responders were on ground.
