107-year-old man confirred with highest chieftaincy title in Ondo community

CITIZENS COMPASS– A 107-year-old man, High Chief Emoroaye Johnson Aderibole, has been conferred with the highest ranking chieftaincy title in Okedebi Royal Family of Igbotako Kingdom, Okitipupa in Ondo state.
The chieftaincy title, the Ogunesotono of Osooro Kingdom, was conferred by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Gbadebo Bajowa, the Rebuja of Osooro, in Okitipupa area of the State.
The ceremony was held on Saturday, August 28, 2024 at the palace of Oba Rebuja Gbadebo Bajowa.
Conferring the chieftaincy title, the monarch thanked Almighty God for sparing the life of Aderibole and urged him to not to relent in his usual ways of developing the town.
He prayed for more achievements to come.
Responding, Aderibole expressed happiness for being alive to witness his special day.
He appreciated all and sundry for gracing the occasion.
Chief Aderibole thanked his children and other family members who supported him particularly Duchess Adeyinka Obateru Akinrutan, Regent Oluyemi Bajowa and other children for their support.
Citizens Compass reports that the Title is the highest honour given to the aged people in the community who are still alive to testify to the good things in their old days.
